A pretty disappointing platter of cheese curds served with an apple bacon salad (entirely ignored here for review purposes). The outsides have a decent crisp to the beer batter but are entirely unsalted. The insides are gooey but rather lacking in flavor, only containing a slight bit of the signature oily/salty pop of flavor found in cheese curds. Served with a chili crisp aioli that tastes more like cheese than chili, but definitely isn’t cheesy… I’m just left confused by the tastes that are and are not here.
