This is SUCH an incredible biryani... might look simple, but as soon as you have your first bite, you can taste the careful love and prepration that has gone into this. The chef/owner used to work at The Fat Duck... how about that?! Amazing. And such a bargain!

This biryani was super delicious. Full of so much flavour and the masala was amazing! The chicken tasted really good too and was packed with great flavour. It's definitely an authentic Indian dish and it's hard to get it right and DUM Biryani have definitely nailed it with that recipe. However, it's good to share between two. The crazy thing one was me and my sister ended up ordering a biryani each and it's honestly too much for one person but then again we agreed that we "had to" make a DUMb mistake like that since it was the first time we went to eat at DUM Biryani. Btw, in Hindi "DUM" refers to the keeping the steam within the Biryani dish hence it's covered with that bread which then you open up to reveal the biryani inside. I would 100% recommend this dish. It was THE BEST!
