Petit Trois is closed during the pandemic - no take out of their regular menu. They do, however, have a "Goods Store" which includes a few baked items and their Big Mec Double Cheeseburger burger kit. They give you the ingredients and instructions to make 2 of their famous burgers at home. This idea fascinated me, because I (sadly) did not enjoy the $20something burger in the restaurant. It was rare (too rare for me) and the mec sauce had big chunks of pickles in it (and I am anti pickle). I knew we could cook it a little longer and we even strained the pickles out of the sauce! Oh my God... Amazing 😍. Gorgeous brioche buns toasted in clarified butter, 2 thin burgers (this time cooked to medium rare), 3 slices of cheese, spread and Bordelaise sauce. Bam!
