Oh. Em. Gee. This fried banana snack is so freaking good. Like unbelievably good. Fried till golden and crispy and then drizzled with some magic sauce (not sure if it’s condensed milk or some kind of syrup), with a healthy sprinkling of brown sugar (or maybe shaved gula melaka?) and then topped with freshly grated cheese. This salty sweet combination is so sinfully good. There is usually a queue to get to these goodies but they are quite organized. The bananas are fried in batches frequently so that customers always get them hot and toppings are only prepared when it is ordered. Street food at its best.
